Artemin Gallery will present works by Taiwanese artist YuChun Chen at Art Jakarta 2026.
YuChun Chen was born in 1980 in Changhua and lives in Tamsui. She works primarily in oil, circling the themes of time, memory, dreams and the order of time. Her recent paintings turn places she has visited and revisited into blurred, unnamed spaces — not events, only the traces of a presence — spoken in a voice that stays quiet yet never stops.
She paints as a flâneur in the Baudelairean sense, looking from a distance that hovers between detachment and empathy. Memory carries her back to a rooftop, a stretch of shoreline, a therapist’s room; then she withholds the specifics — a gesture left on the back of a chair, sunlight lingering on a wall.
Chen held her solo exhibition Still Telling at Artemin Gallery in 2025, and has taken part in Art Taipei and held solo museum exhibitions at Changhua County Art Museum and Pingtung Art Museum. Her work is held in major private collections, including the Montecito Contemporary Art Collection (MCAC).

Artemin Gallery 將於 Art Jakarta 2026 展出台灣藝術家陳玉純的作品。
陳玉純，1980 年生於彰化，現居淡水。她長年以油彩處理時間、記憶、夢與時間的秩序；近作將她造訪與重訪的地方轉化為模糊而不具名的空間——不是事件，只是人存在過的痕跡——以一種安靜卻不停歇的聲音說出。
她以波特萊爾式漫遊者（flâneur）的姿態作畫，在冷靜與共感之間的距離裡凝視。記憶把她帶回某個屋頂、某段海岸、某間諮商室，她再收起明確的細節：椅背上殘留的手勢、牆上滯留的日光。
陳玉純於 2025 年在 Artemin Gallery 舉辦個展「匿名故事」（Still Telling），並曾參展台北國際藝術博覽會（Art Taipei），於彰化縣立美術館、屏東美術館舉辦美術館個展；作品獲 Montecito Contemporary Art Collection（MCAC）等重要私人收藏。

Artemin Gallery will present works by Thai artist Butsapasila Wanjing at Art Jakarta 2026.

Butsapasila Wanjing (b. 2000, Chiang Mai, Thailand) graduated in painting from Silpakorn University, Bangkok, in 2022. He is interested in how collective memory shifts over time, and in the ways the past keeps leaving traces on the present. His material ranges widely — histories that circulate as conspiracy theories on blogs and online media, oral beliefs around the supernatural, local legend, and accounts that resist being folded into a national history — alongside personal memory as a way of tying individual experience to broader social and cultural currents.
The works shown in Jakarta are from his After Monet water lily series. It returns to the lily pond in front of the family home, built by a relative out of admiration for Claude Monet and part of the landscape the artist grew up in. To an adult, the lilies and their reflections might stand for beauty; to the child, the same pond was full of fear and uncertainty — the half-seen surface, the lilies hiding whatever lay beneath, the imagining of what the water might hold. Paintings such as After Monet: Beneath the Water Lilies and One Night’s Dream revisit that memory in the space between beauty, memory and fear.
Butsapasila took part in Access Bangkok with Artemin Gallery in 2024, and his work has also been shown at Tang Contemporary Art, Bangkok, among other venues.

Artemin Gallery 將於 Art Jakarta 2026 展出泰國藝術家 Butsapasila Wanjing 的作品。
Butsapasila Wanjing（b. 2000，泰國清邁），2022 年畢業於曼谷 Silpakorn 大學繪畫系。他關注集體記憶的變形，以及過去如何持續在當下留下痕跡、施加影響。他的取材範圍很廣，部落格與網路媒體上以陰謀論形式流傳的歷史、關於超自然的口傳信仰、地方傳說，以及那些難以被納入主流國族史的敘事，並以個人記憶作為連結個體經驗與社會文化的路徑。

此次帶到雅加達的是他的「After Monet」睡蓮系列。系列回到他童年家門前的一方睡蓮池：池子是家人出於對莫內的喜愛而造，也成為他成長環境的一部分。睡蓮與倒影對成人而言或許代表美，對當時的孩子卻充滿恐懼與不確定——半遮半掩的水面、被睡蓮擋住的水底，以及池裡可能藏著什麼的想像。〈After Monet: Beneath the Water Lilies〉、〈One Night‘s Dream〉等作，便是在美、記憶與恐懼之間重訪這段經驗。

Butsapasila 曾於 2024 年與 Artemin Gallery 共同參展曼谷 Access Bangkok，作品並曾於曼谷 Tang Contemporary Art 等機構展出。

Artemin Gallery is pleased to announce its forthcoming presentation at Art Jakarta 2026, featuring works by Taiwanese artist Cheng Nung-Hsuan.

Cheng Nung-Hsuan (b. 1983, Taipei) graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2006. His recent works span landscapes, figures, plants and animals, using fluid shapes and colour to build expressive scenes that explore painting's potential to narrate itself, and that open onto the viewer's own experience.
Cheng holds a singular place in Taiwanese contemporary painting. He is fluent in the composition and format of Western classical oil painting, but rather than settling there, he brings painterly languages from different eras and techniques onto a single canvas, where they are set side by side and allowed to collide. Over finely built classical figures and compositions he lays geometric fields of colour, dry-brushed lines and fluorescent tones — dissonant notes cutting across the melody — so that a picture holds both a theatrical wholeness and a tension that never quite settles. He works without an underdrawing, thinking as he paints, at times deliberately leaving gaps so an image stays just short of complete, then filling them in another language.

Cheng‘s work has been shown at Stanford Art Gallery and Chiayi Art Museum, among others, most recently in a group exhibition at Srisasanti Gallery, Indonesia. His work is also held in significant public and private collections, including the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the Montecito Contemporary Art Collection (MCAC).

Artemin Gallery 將於 Art Jakarta 2026 帶來台灣藝術家鄭農軒的作品。
鄭農軒（b. 1983，台北）2006 年畢業於國立臺北藝術大學。近年創作橫跨風景、人物、植物與動物等主題，以流動的造型與色彩鋪陳出富有表現力的場景，探索繪畫自我敘事的可能，也讓觀者得以帶著自身經驗進入畫面。
在臺灣當代繪畫中，鄭農軒是相當獨特的一位。他熟悉西方古典油畫的構圖與形制，卻不停留其中，而是在同一塊畫布上，讓來自不同時代、不同技法的繪畫語言彼此並置、碰撞——精細的古典人物與構圖之上，覆蓋著幾何色塊、乾擦線條與螢光色調，像是不協調的聲音穿插在旋律之間，使畫面同時具備劇場般的整體感，以及難以安定的張力。他習慣不打底稿，邊畫邊想，有時刻意在畫面中留下空位，讓形象停在完成之前的狀態，再以另一種語言去填補。

鄭農軒的作品曾於 Artemin Gallery 以及誠品畫廊舉辦個展，也曾於美國史丹佛大學美術館、嘉義市立美術館等機構展出，並於近期參與印尼 Srisasanti Gallery 的聯展。作品亦獲重要公共及私人收藏，包括國立臺灣美術館以及 Montecito Contemporary Art Collection（MCAC）。

The installation view of Lee Ji Eun’s first solo exhibition in Taiwan, also the first time she has exhibited outside of Korea.

This exhibition speaks of healing. It is something we all, in our own way, experience.
Each of us carries a different world on our shoulders, but the weariness and unease hidden beneath may not be so different after all. Through the quiet stories held within her paintings, Ji Eun gently eases that weariness of life and heart. Whether humor or sorrow lies beneath the surface, she has always imagined and created moments and spaces where one can pause and rest a while. Within them, she slowly builds a utopia of her own — a place where home and garden intertwine.

Elsewhere 彼方 hopes to offer viewers a moment to slow down and empty the mind — like pausing on the way home from work to catch a glimpse of the sunset, or coming upon an unfamiliar landscape unexpectedly on a journey — a brief moment to set down one’s weariness and look back upon oneself.

韓國藝術家李知恩在台灣的首次個展展場一景，這也是她第一次在韓國以外的地方展出。這次展覽訴說的是療癒，是我們每個人都會經歷的事。

每個人肩上扛著的世界不盡相同，但那份藏在心底的疲憊與不安，或許其實都很相似。Ji Eun 試著用畫裡安靜的故事，把這些疲憊的生活與心，稍稍撫平一些。不管畫裡藏著的是幽默還是悲傷，她一直想像並創造出能讓人稍作停留、休息片刻的瞬間與空間，也在其中慢慢建築屬於自己的烏托邦——一處家與花園交織而成的所在。

Lee Ji Eun 於去年首次參與台北藝博（Art Taipei），以聯展形式在台北亮相，展出作品全數售罄，也讓她的創作首次獲得台灣藏家與觀眾的關注與喜愛。此次《Elsewhere 彼方》則是她在台灣的首次個展，期望能更完整地呈現她的創作脈絡與內心世界。

《Elsewhere 彼方》期望成為觀者得以放慢腳步、清空思緒的片刻，就像下班回家路上為了看一眼夕陽而停下的腳步，又或旅途中不經意撞見的一片陌生風景，讓人得以暫時卸下疲憊，重新回望自己。
