Three works by Artemin Gallery’s represented artist Juli baker and summer, presented in her solo exhibition Fuengfah Factory at the gallery, have been acquired into the permanent collection of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts.
The acquired works are:

《Fuengfah Factory》

《floor Fuengfah》

《the melody of a teenage girl》
1. Fuengfah Factory, acrylic and inktense on canvas, 2025, 166 × 129 cm
2. floor Fuengfah, acrylic and inktense on canvas, 2025, 147.5 × 196 cm
3. the melody of a teenage girl, acrylic on canvas, 2025, 141 × 91 cm
Fuengfah Factory marked Juli baker and summer’s second solo exhibition in Taiwan, drawn from a documentary about the women of the Hara jeans factory in 1975 Thailand — teenage workers who took over their factory, produced and sold their own jeans, played music, read books, and fought for fair pay. For the artist, the exhibition became both a thank-you letter to the women who stitched the clothes that shaped her, and a return to the younger self who first learned who she was through what she wore. Her vivid female figures and handwritten text bring memory, labor, and identity together into one shared, imagined factory.
We are grateful to the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts for recognizing this work and welcoming it into the collection, and to everyone who helped make this acquisition possible.
