[ Event ] ARTISTS: Juli Baker and Summer/Alan Chin/Lee Jieun/MULTISTANDARD/Yu-Chun Chen陳玉純
We are honored to present the works of Juli Baker and Summer, Alan Chin, Lee Jieun, MULTISTANDARD, and Yu-Chun Chen at Art Taipei 2025.
Juli Baker and Summer
Her creative journey began with an early dream of fashion design, studying Fashion and Textiles at Chulalongkorn University before discovering her true passion for painting. Since launching her career in 2015, Juli has become known for her vivid, sun-drenched color palette and expressive depictions of women—figures that feel both liberated and introspective, radiating emotion and warmth.
Rooted deeply in lived experiences—memories, conversations, travels, books, pop culture, and social realities—her works function as visual diaries. As a feminist artist, she uses painting as a form of expression and resistance, embedding handwritten fragments that affirm her dual role as both storyteller and diarist.

Alan Chin
Alan Chin (b. 1987, Berkeley, USA; based in Los Angeles) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, installation, and video. He received his BFA in Ceramics and Painting from California College of the Arts, San Francisco, and furthered his studies at Minerva Art Academy in the Netherlands. His practice explores the ever-expanding landscape of information, embracing fluidity and multiplicity in artistic expression.
Working primarily with ceramics, found objects, and oil on canvas, Chin examines the latent value within everyday materials. Through transformation and juxtaposition, he invites viewers to reconsider the structures of perception and meaning.

Ji Eun Lee
Ji Eun Lee (b. 1991, Korea) graduated from the Department of Western Painting at Dong-A University, Busan. Her practice centers on the origins of emotion and memory, weaving narratives from the voids and desires of childhood. Through layered shades of blue—a metaphor for water, amniotic fluid, and rebirth—her paintings evoke both solitude and solace.
Within her brushstrokes, serenity coexists with anxiety, love with fear, longing with comfort. For Lee, art functions as a structural language—a space where emotions take form and the self finds its quiet refuge.

MULTISTANDARD
Founded by Ryota Akiyama, Soma Furutachi, Yosuke Matsushita, Stanley Shen, and Daiki Tawata, MULTISTANDARD is a Tokyo-based design collective whose practice lies not in providing the “right answers,” but in reframing perspectives through creative experimentation. The group has participated in Milan Design Week and RIMOWA’s global exhibition “AS SEEN BY”, among others, continuously exploring the boundaries between design and art.

Yu-Chun Chen 陳玉純
Yu-Chun Chen (b. 1980, Changhua, Taiwan) primarily works with oil on canvas, exploring themes of time, memory, dreams, and the order of existence. Her artistic inquiry echoes existentialist thought—“existence precedes essence.” With a restrained yet introspective hand, Chen’s paintings embody the perspective of a quiet observer, transforming internal reflection into a subtle and profound visual narrative.
